花旗集团正有意关闭旗下另类投资部门

北京时间8月13日晚间消息，《华尔街日报》报道称，花旗集团正有意关闭旗下花旗另类投资部门，其中包括一个拥有英国水务供应商以及西班牙收费公路资产的基金。

其中的业务还包括Citi Infrastructure Investors，后者管理着2007年成立的规模高达34亿美元的Citi Infrastructure Partners LP基金。该基金约5亿美元的资金是由花旗集团委托。

在一份投资者备忘录中，CII联合负责人Felicity Gates、Ghislain Gauthier、Colin Campbell 以及John-George Duthie-Jackson表示有意先出售该基金的初始25%股权，在将来寻求机会将该基金的部分或全部资产转移给新东家。

一名花旗发言人拒绝对此该集团退出另类投资业务予以置评。
